So as we come to 1 Corinthians 5, we see Paul delivering a strong rebuking message to the church body for their overlooking and excusing of immoral sexual activity that has been taking place within the body of believers. Paul starts his message by emphatically reminding the Corinthians about sexual sin. He admonishes them for excusing and even condoning such sinful activity within the church and then warns them about the dangerous impact unchecked sin can have on the entire body of believers.
