Welcoming Savior
Today’s reading: John 1:35-51
As we finish studying John 1, we’re getting a glimpse of the start of Jesus’s public ministry with the calling and gathering of His first disciples. What stood out to me from this passage was how easily and openly Jesus interacted with these men whom he had never met before. What a picture of a seeking and welcoming Savior–and the good news is (no pun intended) that He is still seeking after and welcoming us today. Thank you, Jesus, for Your great love for us!
