how you can pray for us?

Please pray for:

  • God’s servants to find the support and resources needed to keep the faith and run the race with endurance (Hebrews 12:1, 1 Timothy 6:12, 2 Timothy 4:7)
  • God to use Servant’s Oasis to encourage and empower His servants to continue in the work to which they were called
  • The impact of our mission to be maximized with the resources we currently have
  • The restoration and repurposing of the Gardens to support our mission
  • The ability to provide the necessary accommodations for people to escape the interruptions and focus solely on their walk with God

How can we pray for you?

Please tell us how we can be praying for you.

“Because of laziness the building decays, and through idleness of hands the house leaks.” – Ecclesiastes 10:18

Ecclesiastes 10:18 illustrates for us how the lazy and idle leave UNATTENDED things that NEED ATTENTION, sometimes needing immediate attention. The upkeep of buildings is left unattended for too long and they begin to decay. When one should have been working on maintaining their home they are lying around. Even with things that need immediate attention, there is inaction. As the rain falls the roof leaks, yet it is not patched, leaving a mess EVERY time. (And don’t expect the idle to clean up the mess).

Both the lazy and the idle are IRRESPONSIBLE WITH RESPONSIBILITIES. Their inaction has consequences that are negative and destructive.

Proverbs 12:27 is a contrasting verse that speaks volumes to HOW we are to live. It gives the contrast of the lazy by telling of the diligent. Proverbs 12:27 says, “The lazy man does not roast what he took in hunting, But diligence is man’s precious possession.”

The DILIGENT DOES WHAT MUST BE DONE WHEN IT MUST BE DONE!
The LAZY and the IDLE leave undone what must be done until it is irreparable.

“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it..” – 1 Corinthians 10:13

1 Corinthians 10:13 teaches us that our great and awesome God is very actively involved in our lives. One of His greatest activities is providing HELP with the very real temptations we face. I like to say that our God is faithful to keep us faithful.

As temptations come, God shows us and leads us in how to resist and say no. He provides us with the WAY OF ESCAPE.

Now let us get honest with our battle with temptations. The key to victory is for us to USE the WAY OF ESCAPE. As He is faithful to REVEAL the way of escape, we must be faithful to REMOVE ourselves from temptation. Victory over temptation calls for cooperating with God as He provides direction, as He provides the WAY of ESCAPE!

Being honest with ourselves again and we tell the truth we will say that many of our failures with temptations happened because we were in the wrong place with the wrong people. If we analyze our failures, we probably will recall the Spirit of God speaking to us to stay away from that place and/or person but we did not listen!

Are you listening to God as He is seeking to keep you from even being in a place of temptation? Being victorious over temptations means not putting yourself in places where you are prone to fall!!
If we are going to ask God to lead us not into temptation, we must follow Him as He leads us from temptation.

Continue strong knowing our God is faithful to keep us faithful.
