Lemuel W. Woodson Jr. has been an Ambassador of God since accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior during the summer of 1978. Called to minister the gospel in 2012, he was officially licensed to minister the gospel by the congregation of Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church on July 19, 2014. He served as an Associate Pastor at Service Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA and as Executive Pastor at Connection Church Philly.
In January 2020 after acknowledging the call to launch a new ministry in Norristown, PA, Lemuel was ordained and served as Servant Leader and President of Kingdom Culture Christian Center, located in Norristown, PA.
Prior to preaching the gospel, Rev. Woodson served as an ordained deacon at New Central Baptist Church, Philadelphia, PA and as a Board Trustee at Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church, Philadelphia, PA.
Rev. Woodson is a native of Philadelphia, PA. He studied percussions at Granoff School of Music, attended Murrell Dobbins Vocational Technical High School, Art Institute of Pittsburgh, New Life Bible Institute (Norristown Campus), and Transfiguration Theological Seminary, where he was conferred the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Ministry.
A Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) and effective communicator, he continues to competently promulgate the message of our Chief Ambassador, Jesus Christ. Known for his practical and engaging teaching style, Rev. Woodson is intentional about helping others identify and understand their life’s purpose and giftedness. It is equally important to him that he edify individuals how to apply Kingdom principles, set right priorities and benefit from all the applied rights and privileges as an adopted child, engaged citizen and joint heir of the Kingdom of God.
Also, a dynamic marketing sage with the unique ability to connect people to remarkable experiences, Lemuel offers over 35 years of in-depth knowledge of marketing, leadership, graphic/visual arts design, and purposeful client engagement which is a powerful combination. His marketplace savvy is irreplaceable as it is the KEY that has brought this innovator much success in his roles as a CEO, Marketing Director, and Collateral Designer. Servicing companies such as PECO Energy Inc., Philadelphia Gas Works, Philadelphia Hospitality Inc., Philadelphia Academies, Inc., the Philadelphia Tribune, Phillip Morris, Highmark, To Better Health LLC., The Avenue of the Arts of Philadelphia and Junior Achievement Delaware.
After retiring his business of more than 20 years, Lemuel embarked upon accentuating his connections within the community to a new level of customer engagement. While serving at Chick-fil-A East Norriton and Northeast Philadelphia, Lemuel performed effectively in the following positions: Director of Sales and Brand Growth, Director of Training and Development, Director of Marketing and Business Development and Leadership Coach. He also served as a facilitator for the Leader Academy Program at Norristown Area High School. With a servant leader deportment, he continued to effectively bridge people and strategies together purposefully for a communal cause as he promulgates an Emotional Connections Marketing culture. Additionally, as a former certified Corporate Grand Opening Marketing Team Member, he forged to make a difference by supporting the marketing and customer engagement strategies of new and emerging Chick-fil-A Restaurants nationwide.
He coordinated with corporate champions and advised/served several Boards of Directors of Non-Profit Organizations. He organizes, led, and participated in many community events and has a desire to be EXCELLENT in every aspect of who he is and what he does.
He and his wife Joanne have been married for 44 years and are the proud parents of four adult sons, Lemuel III, a Pastor serving in Canonsburg, PA, Richard Thomas, an Art Director, and Photographer, serving in Baltimore, MD, Matthew Lawrence, a Music Teacher and Principal Percussionist at the Fulton Theater, serving in Lancaster, PA and Joseph Isaac, a Biochemist and Marketing Sage, serving in London, England. They are also the proud grandparents of three very blessed, beautiful, and wonderful granddaughters, JoHanna Mae, Beatrix Elise and Veronica Rose.
