Today’s reading: 1 Corinthians 4:1-21

Throughout 1 Corinthians 4 Paul conveys what being a minister of the Gospel message looks like and entails to the believers in Corinth–being teachers, stewards, servants, trustworthy, held in disregard, poor, etc. What he describes is not a particularly easy road. Then Paul reminds the Corinthians of his special relationship with them (a spiritual father in that he introduced them to Jesus), and urges them to be imitators of him as they live for Christ.

How would you describe being a disciple of Christ to a new believer? What does being a disciple look like in your day-to-day life? Tami
