Today’s reading: 1 Kings 20:1-25

Today the storyline of 1 Kings turns back to king Ahab who finds himself under attack by Ben-hadad, the king of Syria. While king Ahab is certainly not a likeable character, Ben-hadad is even less so. He’s an arrogant, condescending, and disrespectful bully, whose pride and greed blind him from seeing when enough was enough.
