Today’s reading: 2 Timothy 1:1-7

One of the things I love about Paul was that he was truly a prayer warrior. Constantly and fervently praying was his norm. So it’s no surprise that he calls for and encourages us to do the same throughout his many letters. And from what Paul writes, we can see that an extensive portion of his prayer time was dedicated to praying for others-his friends and those whom he had ministered to. Paul’s prayer example is one that I want and need to follow and imitate.

In a typical day, how often do you pray? For what or for whom do you regularly pray? Is it your practice to pray for friends? Family? People in need? Church and government leaders? What impact does praying for others have on you spiritually? Tami
