Today’s reading: Galatians 4:8-20

One of the things I notice about Paul’s letter to the Galatians is how much he loved and was concerned about these people with whom he had a special relationship and spiritual bond. It was Paul who had introduced the people of Galatia to Christ, and then taught them about living for God. What stands out so prominently to me about Paul and the churches in Galatia is how he continued to guide, teach and care for this group of new Christ-followers even after leaving the area.

What does Paul’s example show us about the importance of spiritual mentoring? Do you have someone you consider a spiritual mentor? How are you (or how might you start) helping other believers grow in their relationship with Christ? Tami
