Today’s reading: 2 Samuel 22:1-4

God loves it when we tell Him how much we love, value, respect and need Him. It’s one of the ways that we can give Him praise. In 2 Samuel 22, David is telling God just what God means to Him through a beautiful and personal song of praise (by the way, this particular passage with some slight variations is found at Psalm 18). I love the opening verses of this song/psalm where David is saying to God “You are my all. You are my rock, fortress, deliverer, shield, stronghold, refuge, my savior.”

Let’s take a few minutes today to think about what our relationship with God means to us and how we think about God. Then, like David, let’s complete the phrase, “God, you are my ___________.” Once you’ve done this, then make sure to tell God what He means to you. Tami
