Today’s reading: Psalm 34:1-3

David is known for his praise, which we see through the psalms that he wrote. So it’s no surprise that Psalm 34 starts out with David’s proclamation that he will bless the Lord and praise Him continually. Immediately after making this statement David writes “My soul makes its boast in the LORD” (vs. 2). I was drawn to this description of David’s heart for God followed by the encouragement to join with him in full out worship and praise of our magnificent God in verse 3.

If you were to proclaim, like David, “My soul makes its boast in the LORD,” what would that look like (how would it play out) in your day-to-day life? How would it impact the way you interact with people at work, home, church, in the community? What influence would it have on your decision making? Tami
