Today’s reading: Psalm 132:1-18
I love the tone of an earnest seeking after God and His favor that we see in Psalm 132. This petition starts out by looking back at David’s fervent following after and service to God. It then turns to the present with the specific request for God to now make good on the oath made to David, paired with a confident declaration that God would do exactly as He had promised.
